In Search of the Jaguar

The ‘Encontro das Aguas’ State Park is located at the meeting of the rivers Cuiaba and Piquiri in the region of Porto Jofre. Today this territory is inhabitated by the biggest quantity of jaguars in the world. The best way to have an experience with the big cat and other species of animals such as the giant otter, howler monkey, tapir, and many kinds of birds, is on a boat tour offered by the hotel.

The hotel offers tours of observation on different types of boats according to the number of passengers. We do not offer collective tours (combining different groups), only exclusive trips according to your needs.

National Wetland Park

The hotel also offers a tour inside the National Park of Pantanal, which is an ecological reserve of IBAMA (Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente). The boat ride to the national park is about 3 ½ hours, it is a full day tour, but believe me it is worth it!
