STATE LAW Nº 9893 of 01/03/2013 – Maximum permitted catch size.
The maximum permitted catch size for fish being transported by river or overland is 05 kg plus a trophy, independent of weight. It is essential that the amateur fisherman’s licence be carried whilst fishing and whilst transporting the catch. Fishing is by hook and line only; the use of any kind of trap, nets or cast nets is prohibited.

The killing or shooting of wild animals whether for their feathers, skin or leather, as well as amateur or professional fishing during the closed season, is a payroll-ineligible crime.
The carrying of firearms on hotel property is expressly forbidden.
Art. 312 Clause XIII – It the throwing of cans, bottles or other non-biodegradable refuse into rivers, bays or lagoons is prohibited.
Warning: All small vessels (launches, amphibious aeroplanes) are considered high-risk, putting their users “in danger of being shipwrecked”. Therefore, for their own protection lifebelts should be used whilst on trips or out fishing.
You are requested not to enter the restaurant in swimwear or without a shirt on; the bringing in of alcoholic drinks and domestic animals is also prohibited.

For your own safety it is prohibited to offer ALCOHOLIC DRINKS TO THE STAFF, especially during working hours (“the river’s got arms to drag you in, but not hands to pull you out with”).
THE HOTEL WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTS CAUSED BY THE FLOUTING OF THIS RULE.
The HOTEL does not do NIGHT FISHING due to the high level of danger involved.
