The hotel is open from March to October, the fishing open season. From November until the last 15 days of the month of February the fish swim upriver to its source, going against the current, in order to spawn and reproduce.
Rivers
Porto Jofre is a region privileged with rivers that offer excellent fishing, providing fantastic and unforgettable sport. The main rivers are: Cuiabá, São Lourenço, Três Irmãos, Piquiri, Negrinho and Paraguay.
Fleet
The hotel provides fishing using Marajó 19 launches with 115 hp motors operated by experienced guides local to the area.
Types of bait
Sport fishing in the Pantanal is done using the following types of live bait: pearlfish, armoured catfish, guts, lugworm, snails and worms; some of these baits have their own appropriate time of year of use.
